The Holyoke Farmers Market event on April 24th was quite a community affair! It was great to see local businesses and organizations like Mass in Motion, OneHolyoke, Let’s Move Hampden County 5210 and Holyoke Health Center coming together to support each other and engage with the community. D&R Farms offering a variety of fresh produce, homemade breads, and other goodies was a highlight for attendees, and the raffle by Mass in Motion added an extra element of fun. The educational aspect provided by Holyoke Farmers Market about how to use HIP benefits shows a commitment to making healthy, local food accessible to all. The next event on May 22nd sounds like another opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy local offerings.
